Nature upclose

In my photography I’m inspired by structures, usually natural structures. I’m interested in multi-scaledness (like fractal patterns) and the perfect geometry we can find in such simple, fragile and small shapes. Moreover, I’m interested in dynamics and growth of these structures, you can see the history of these structures in their form. Take the sand dune background picture as an example, it’s formed by the continuous interaction of geometric matter (the sand grains), and the dynamic interactions of the wind in relationship to the movement of the sand. Together, this interesting form is created.

I try to loosen the sense of scale. I try to emphasize the beautiful bright colours of nature. I try to show the complexity of this small world. I try to make the small the big we tend to search for.
